Filtered Realities
This live performance piece explores the complex relationship between social media and body image through the interaction of three performers. Using movement, repetition, and stillness, the work reflects the pressures of online visibility, comparison, and curated identity. Each performer embodies a different facet of digital self-presentation—distortion, validation, and erasure—creating a visceral dialogue about how our bodies are seen, judged, and performed in virtual spaces. The piece invites the audience to witness the tension between authenticity and expectation, and to question what is real when our reflections are filtered through a screen.
